Yakov Epstein, Ph.D.

Yakov Epstein, Ph.D. was an adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in stress reduction and marital therapy. Dr. Epstein has authored and edited two textbooks and more than fifty research articles.

Dr. Epstein along with his wife Helane Rosenberg, Ph.D. are a husband and wife team of infertility counselors, researchers, and writers. They conduct individual and group counseling sessions to help clients deal with the emotional aspects of infertility treatment. They have interviewed numerous infertile individuals and couples about the problems of infertility and ways of coping. Drs Rosenberg and Epstein are the authors of Getting Pregnant When You Thought You Couldn't, published by Warner Books in June, 1993. Dr. Epstein was an adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in stress reduction and marital therapy. Dr. Rosenberg is an expert in the use of mental imagery techniques. Dr. Rosenberg has authored two textbooks and more than thirty research articles. Dr. Epstein has authored and edited two textbooks and more than fifty research articles.
