A Personal Adoption Story and Mock Movie Trailer

We were successful in building our family both through treatment and international adoption. This is a creative expression of our adoption experience and using the “folklore tale of the Red Thread.” I hope it is sensitive to those who have adopted or who may be looking to adopt internationally. One of the critical elements in filming is to shoot what you love and what you are passionate about. The Red Thread is Chinese Folk Lore or a fairy tale and is popular in Asian culture. The theme is “destiny or fate” and is associated with love and marriage. Some in the International adoption community have used the (destiny) theme with the act of fate bringing together families through adoption. and a belief that people destined to be together are joined by an invisible red thread.
