A Personal Adoption Story
This video shares a personal journey to building a family through both fertility treatment and international adoption. While it reflects an individual experience, it also draws on a broader idea often referenced in the adoption community—the concept of the Red Thread.
At the same time, we want to be clear: adoption is a serious, complex, and deeply personal process. Families enter it with careful thought, preparation, and a full understanding of the lifelong impact it carries for everyone involved.
We use the Red Thread here as a creative and symbolic storytelling element. It helps express connection and meaning—but it does not define adoption, and it does not simplify the realities behind it.
We created this video with deep respect for adoptees, birth families, and adoptive families, as well as for those still considering their path.
