Adverse Childhood Experiences
The ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) study, conducted by the CDC and Kaiser Permanente, is one of the most important public health studies ever completed. It found strong links between childhood adversity and long-term physical and mental health outcomes — including challenges with fertility, relationships, and emotional regulation.
Understanding your own ACE score is not about reliving the past. It is about recognizing patterns, making sense of your responses, and finding your path forward. Many people who have walked the infertility journey carry childhood experiences they have never fully connected to what they are feeling today. This tool is a first step toward that understanding.
