No one slept last night. Bilbo, who never whines, did so all the way home last night. My older daughter slept on a cot next to Bilbo in our family room to keep him calm and ensure he got water. No one could sleep. Getting him from the car to the house was scary. I have to tell anyone interested that GingerLead was worth its weight in GOLD. The vet gave us a sling, but GingerLead, coupled with a basic chest harness, was the ticket to get Bilbo around. GingerLead goes under his belly with leads on either side adjustable for the height of the person using the sling. We added a simple chest harness and hooked the Gingerlead to the chest harness for additional support.
