About

Michael S. Opsahl, M.D. is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist and co-founder of POMA Fertility. With decades of experience in reproductive medicine, Dr. Opsahl is recognized for his clinical expertise and commitment to helping individuals and couples achieve their family-building goals.

Dr. Opsahl earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado. He went on to complete fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California. He is board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

He previously served as Medical Director at Pacific Northwest Fertility and IVF Specialists before co-founding POMA Fertility, where he continues to provide advanced fertility care. Dr. Opsahl specializes in IVF, fertility preservation, egg donation, and the treatment of complex infertility, including recurrent pregnancy loss.

Dr. Opsahl is also a valued member of the Board of Directors for The InterNational Council on Infertility Information Dissemination, where he contributes his expertise to advancing patient education, advocacy, and access to fertility care.

Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Opsahl emphasizes individualized treatment planning and compassionate care, guiding patients through both the medical and emotional aspects of fertility treatment.
