For more than two decades, INCIID has worked to make fertility care more accessible through education, advocacy, and direct financial support. In 2005, the INCIID IVF Scholarship Program was nationally recognized in a feature article highlighting a simple but powerful idea: access to fertility care should not depend solely on financial means.

That commitment has never changed.
What has changed is the world around us.

A Legacy Interrupted — Not Lost

Like many nonprofits, INCIID was significantly affected by the COVID era. Funding disruptions forced difficult decisions, including the pause of our IVF Scholarship Program. This pause was not a retreat from our mission, but a necessary step to reassess how to rebuild responsibly in a changed landscape.

Today, we are moving forward with intention, transparency, and hope.

A Rebuilding Year Focused on Sustainability

The coming year represents a rebuilding year for the INCIID IVF Scholarship Program. Our goal is not simply to restart what once existed, but to rebuild the scholarship in a way that is sustainable, transparent, and aligned with the realities patients face today.

Over the next 10 months, we are working toward reviving the full IVF Scholarship Program—guided by education, data, and patient-centered care.
This is a thoughtful process, and we are committed to sharing updates as progress is made.

Medication Access Remains a Priority

Even during this rebuilding phase, INCIID anticipates continuing to provide fertility medications as part of scholarship-related support.
Medication costs alone can represent a significant financial barrier to treatment. By prioritizing access to medications, we are able to provide meaningful support now while laying the groundwork for broader scholarship assistance as funding grows.

New Approaches, Rooted in Education

This year, INCIID is expanding its focus on patient education and informed decision-making. Our educational resources are designed to help individuals and couples:

• Evaluate fertility clinics thoughtfully
• Understand treatment options and standards of care
• Ask informed questions and advocate for themselves

Education has always been at the heart of INCIID’s mission. These resources are the foundation on which sustainable access to fertility care is built—and they guide how we are rebuilding scholarship support.
